This holiday has been a great holiday so far. Today is Christmas and I want to say Merry Christmas to who ever that is reading this.

For Christmas my whole family slept over my uncle's place. At 12.00 my cousin's and I opened our present we were all looking forward to what we were getting. For my present I got a Kathmandu jacket, chocolate and much much more.Today we are going to have an BBQ and a party so we can show who much we love Christmas.

Being a year 8 student I just want to say a very special MERRY CHRISTMAS to all the teachers that have taught me this year especially Miss King cause she has taught me more than  a lot and to all my class mates and my year 7 friends and all so the rest of Point England school.

Camp Highlights

The Agradom was one of my favourite highlights. The reason why I liked the Agradom was because as the instructor was talking to us his helper let out sheep one by one on each sides. We saw at least 19 different sheep on the stage and at least 3 with horns. It was pretty awesome seeing all the sheep's going to there actual spot because there were stairs which they had to stand on. After that the instructor blew the whistle to get the 3 dogs attention they ran fast on to the stage while the instructor was opening this cupboard. While he was opening it we saw a massive cow walking on to the stage, the instructor picked a few people to hop on the stage and milk the cow. From our school Waata and Max went on the stage and tried to milk the cows.

Then he opened the door and all the baby lambs started running to the people who were holding the bottles and started feeding them. They were so cute. It was finished and we could go on the stage to see the sheep. Then me and Dante went to a sheep that looked like it had dreadlocks on it but with Justin Biebers style of hair. After that we went to a white sheep that had fur like a nice soft carpet, it felt so soft that I wanted to sleep on it. Then I took a photo with the black sheep thats the best highlight that I had at camp this year.

My Netbook Reflection

What special thing have you learnt from your teacher this year?
The thing that I have learnt from my teacher this year was having a girl teacher because I haven't had one for ages. The other special thing that I have learnt from Miss King is diffrent kinds of ways to solve a maths problem.

What significant thing have you learnt all by yourself?
I learnt that arguing with your friends doesn't make things better. I also learnt how to use my netbook properly.

This year has been a really good year. I have learnt a lot of things to do with maths and how I can  solve fraction problems. And in writing I learnt about different people like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King. I

For me I think that Net books are really good to use because when we need help we can just type it up on our internet so called as 'Wairehe' to connect with it. I have had my Net book for 1 years now and I haven't really done that much damage to it, but I will still be having it because I am going to Tamaki College.

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was a man who stopped racism for all the people around the world. The main points about Nelson is how he changed the world for everyone to make it a better place. He even had to spend 27 years in prison just because people believed in him that he could change everything. The white people knew that whatever Nelson planned to do they knew that a lot of people would believe in him so that's why they put him in prison.

Nelson's father died when he was a child and during his years without his father he became a ward of Jongintaba at the great place in Mqhekezweni. He was the first in his family to attend a school and it was while there that the young Rolihlahla was given the name Nelson.

Nelson Mandela died on Thursday at the age of 95. The former President of South Africa left an indelible mark on both his country and the world, becoming an international symbol of the fight against injustice and human rights abuses. He will be remembered in our hearts forever and ever because he was a man that not only cared about his family but also the whole entire world.

last blog post

Point England School has been a great school. Point England school has taught me a lot especially my teacher Miss King she has taught heaps. I finally love doing maths last year I didn't really do any work at my other school because I didn't know what to do and how to do it but Miss King taught me really good strategies for solving maths problems and heaps more.

The one thing I really loved to do was blog posting. This is my last blog post for 2013. As a year 8 this is my last blog post forever. Blog posting has taught me a lot and has taught other people a lot to. At the beginning of this year I had no clue how to use my blog but terms went past and I finally got a hang of it. This year I have posted 48 story's on my blog.

I just want to say a big as thank you to every one that has helped me this year. I also want to thank my best friends that had been there for me through good and bad times.

Swimming

gif maker Diving into the pool my body was shaking and I felt like getting out. Seconds  later I felt warm so I stayed inside the pool. The first task Miss king told us to do was to practice kicking. She made us to practice kicking for about one minute. I hated doing that because if anyone touched the ground then she will start the one minutes again. So two people were tired and they touched the ground. We had to do that for about three minutes. Then the last time everyone did it really well.

After finishing the task Miss king told us to get into groups of 4. So Me, Dante, Sesalina and Senolita got in to groups. We quickly got into a straight line. Miss king gave us a point for being the first organised group. We were so happy because we knew that we were going to win. When everyone was quite then Miss King told us the Instruction for what we were going to do. After she finished explaining our group got organised to see who was going first, second, third and forth. We all were ready and I had to start first. "GO," Miss King yelled. We quickly worked together to get to first place. I swam down there legs and got back up. Our team was in the lead and our group won by miles. So we got another point and we had two altogether and we won.

Swimming has been great so far I have enjoyed every bit of it. I also want to thanks all the people to payed for our swimming lesson. We wouldn't have this good experience. I also want to thank Miss King for Teaching us how to swim.
